4th of July is right around the corner, which means we are heading to my parent’s house for swimming and a BBQ. We can’t have a family BBQ without a yummy dessert and of course, I want to make it very patriotic! My family is just in love with these Patriotic Fruit Filled Roll-Ups, in fact, they like most things that I make that are fruit filled! Not only are they delicious, they are also some of the easiest desserts I have ever made.
Gather the ingredients:
- 2 Cans Crescent Dinner Rolls
- 1 Can Blueberry Pie Filling
- 1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
- ½ cup Powdered Sugar
- 3 tsp. Water
- Optional: Colored Sugar
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Lay out the crescent rolls and place a heaping spoonful of pie filling into each one. Start at the wider end, and roll the crescent up and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown and let cool.
In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and water and drizzle over the crescent rolls.
Optional step: sprinkle with colored sugar.
